Elizabeth is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Specialist diploma in Rehabilitation Counseling/Deafness Specialist. Elizabeth worked for New York State, Adult Career and Continuing Education Services -Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, a Senior VR counselor, and an Associate Manager. Her work with ACCES-VR provided her with extensive experience in counseling, coaching and training. Elizabeth was a frequent presenter at state-wide conferences representing the New York State Education Department. She currently works as a free-lance consultant focusing on providing services to students in high school receiving transition services. She also works as a trainer for organizations wanting to function better as a team. Elizabeth works as a life coach with youth and adults.
Elizabeth was introduced to Motivational Interviewing in 2013. She continues to attend training sessions in MI taking advanced and master classes throughout the year. “MI has changed the way I work and interact with people every day. Relationships are more enjoyable and work is more satisfying when MI is utilized.”
